1. Dispatch
StarliteTiaras aims to dispatch products that are in stock the next working day. Items that are made to order usually take around 2 weeks although this can increase in high season. If a customer is unsure or would like to check a dispatch time they should contact us fo an approximate dispatch time for their chosen item(s). The customer should note that dispatch times are not the same as delivery times.
Dispatch will only take place once the Customers payment has been received. The customer must allow 5 working days for a cheque to clear.
2. Delivery
We provide free delivery to all addresses within the United Kingdom. The customer should allow 10 working days for delivery. All Items dispatched within the UK are sent by Special or Recorded Delivery and are insured for loss or damage during transit.
For deliveries to the US, there is a delivery charge of £11.99.

For all other destinations there is a delivery charge of £7.99 (International recorded delivery)

Express delivery services are available upon request and are to be paid by the customer prior to dispatch.
** All overseas customers are responsible for any import taxes/tariffs from their respective country **
Should an item arrive damaged or get lost in the post (15 working days), StarliteTiaras will trace the missing item and offer if possible, an immediate dispatch of a replacement item or a full refund. Any damaged item will be refunded after the Royal Mail has concluded their investigation into the said damaged item. The customer should note that that the Royal Mail looks in to all damaged and missing goods, so any item deliberately damaged or claimed lost will be deemed as fraud and will be treated as such.

If a tiara should arrive damaged the customer must email StarliteTiaras immediately and keep all packaging etc. as the Royal Mail may request it for their investigation.

StarliteTiaras can not be held responsible for failure of a recipient to sign for a package, or for the package not being picked up from the local sorting office if an attempted delivery was made to the correct address and there was nobody there to sign for it.
3. Exchange or Refund
Compliant with the consumer protection (distance selling) Act 2000, StarliteTiaras offers a 7 working day no quibble guarantee on stock items. This does not include items made to order for specific requirements i.e. stone type, colour etc. (regulation 13(c) of the consumer protection, distance selling, regulations 2000.)

If in the unlikely event a customer wishes to return or exchange an item within the 7 day period they must contact us via email or letter within 2 working days of receipt of the said item declaring their intention to return, they will be given a return number which must be displayed on the outside of the packaging when returned.

The item must be returned unused, in pre-delivery condition and in its original packaging within the 7 days by a fully insured and trackable method of delivery/post.
Returned goods must arrive at StarliteTiaras within 7 working days of your receipt of said goods. StarliteTiaras will not be held responsible for damage or loss of goods through the customer’s use of the postal system, therefore if the item arrives damaged at our premises we will not refund and it is up to the customer to claim from their courier. We therefore urge proper postal insurance of returned items, in most cases this is only by Special Delivery customers should check at the time of dispatch with their chosen courier service.

Any items returned without prior arrangement via email or letter and/or not displaying the return number will not be accepted. If we receive a tiara that has been damaged in the post then it is up to the sender to claim from the Royal Mail not the recipient.

The customer is responsible for all postage/delivery fee(s). Postage and delivery charges are non-refundable. Exchange is one time only, after item has been exchanged, we will not offer any further exchanges/refunds.
All returned item(s) are subject to a £5 handling fee and refunds cannot be given after 30 days from date of purchase for any reason.
We only offer an exchange policy on overseas orders.
No refunds, credits or exchanges will be honoured for products that have been used and or damaged caused by customer neglect.
4. Intended Use & Liability Risk in goods shall pass to the customer on delivery and the company shall not in any way be liable for any injury, deleterious effects or consequential loss resulting from the application of any inappropriate use, inadequate care, neglect, process treatment or storage of goods after delivery.
StarliteTiaras cannot be held responsible for any allergy, metal or otherwise, arising from wearing our products.
5. Gift Wrapping Service
We offer a FREE special gift wrapping service with a note card if you would like to enclose a message, please add the Free Gift Wrap item to your shopping cart when you order.
These terms and conditions shall be govered by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Care has been taken in the compilation of this web site. The statements and information contained on this site are believed to be correct and are stated in good faith. However, StarliteTiaras shall not be liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience arising from inaccuracies.
As with all tiara and jewellery manufacturers, StarliteTiaras can not be held responsible for silver (whether sterling or plated) tarnishing, and plated items can and do wear exposing the base metal.
Tiaras by their very nature are made of metal, small objects or sharp parts and are thereby not suitable for unsupervised children, our items are not toys. They are made as adult hair accessories and are to be used in accordance with this purpose. StarliteTiaras accepts no responsibility for injury caused by the use, destruction, misuse, negligence or negligent supervision of any of our items. Your statutory rights are not affected
